The Comstock History Center’s permanent exhibit features the original Virginia & Truckee Railroad steam engine, No. 18, “Dayton” and several historic photographs and images depicting the Comstock area during its heyday of 1859 – 1890.
Admission: No admission charged, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Special Events: Now featuring an exhibit of railroad photography and ephemera from Lucius Beebe and Charles Clegg, writers of Western and railroad history and one-time, 1952-1966, proprietors of the Territorial Enterprise.
